Most recently I created these, "Denim and Diamonds" and "Denim and Pearls" Invitation designs. This party theme appears to be popular amongst the "Grown and Sexy" crowd when planning a Birthday Celebration. I totally understand the appeal of this theme... It allows your party guest(s) to arrive in comfy casual/dressy clothing. Men can wear a nice polo tee with jeans and really nice dress shoes, for women the possibilities are endless! Women can wear jean skirts/shorts/pants/capri's with a nice flowy shirt and a pair of heels!

{ Revamped } Party Collection - Coco Chanel
Currently, I am working on tweaking the "Coco Chanel" inspired party collection. This collection was first created in 2011, and has been screaming for a makeover! { Revamped } Party Collection - Juicy Couture
Recently I updated the overall look of the Juicy Couture inspired Party Collection (available here in my shop: http://goo.gl/23v3n7). I wanted to stay true to the pink and brown striped pattern and updated the look with fresh new fonts, switched up the layout of the designs a little, and added quite a few new items. This is still one of my most favorite Party Collections and I love it so much because it's versatile and is appropriate for almost any type of celebration: Birthday Party, Baby Shower, Sweet 16, Bachelorette, etc.:

FREELANCE - Wedding Dessert Table
This past weekend I had the opportunity to work on a small Dessert Table for Corey and Kamesha's wedding. Their wedding colors were red, chocolate brown, and gold (a fun fact: the wedding colors were based on the colors of the Bride and Groom's favorite snacks). All of the hard candies were red and the gourmet snacks (pretzels and oreos) were of course chocolate to bring out the hint of brown. I incorporated the "gold" color mostly through their custom stationery items (Candy Buffet 8X10 Sign, Favor Box, Candy Buffet Labels, and monogram).

{ Networking } - Eccentric Designs First Bridal Show
December 9, 2012 I took a great leap of faith and exhibited at my very first Bridal Show held at - Lake Region Yacht & Country Club. I had such an amazing time networking and meeting with local businesses in my community. It was a great show with a nice sized crowd and more than I could have ever imagined it to be : )
It was so awesome being able to witness first hand the "talent" that was sitting right here (in my community) under my nose all of the time ... I had the most difficult time sitting still and "manning" my booth ... I wanted to venture out and connect with the other businesses and get to know all of them.
Admittedly, initially I was a little intimidated going head to head with so many professional and established businesses, but I was welcomed with open arms by all of the vendors. I didn't feel as though I was in a competition while I was at the Bridal Show ... I felt like I was networking with a group of "old friends" and we all had something different to share with the crowd and that's what made each booth unique.
Overall, the experience was great... the only thing I would complain about is MY TIME MANAGEMENT! I didn't get to work on all of my items until the week of the event ... and I've beaten myself up about it plenty of times (since then). I poured my heart into the items I had on hand, but I know deep down within I could have done a better job if I would have managed my time a little better : /
So, I definitely take everything with this entire experience as a lesson learned... I CANNOT WAIT TO SHARE ... the good news that I recently received weeks following this show - stay tuned for details!

Peacock Party { Part Two } - My Mama's 50th Birthday Celebration
My first post for my mother's "Fabulous and Fifty" birthday celebration consisted mainly of table settings/decorations ... this last post will wrap up a few other stationery items that were not seen in the previous post and introduce you to the birthday girl!
